Kyle Smith, Founder
Kyle was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Starting at an early age, Kyle grew to love the outdoors, both hunting and fishing. He attended the University of Florida and earned his degree in Civil Engineering. While earning his degree, he competitively fished for the University of Florida in their collegiate fishing program. After graduation, Kyle went to work for a major oil and gas producer where he learned a great deal about project management and supply chain management. Kyle married his dream wife, Dawson, and they have a beautiful daughter, Olivia.
Theron Asbery, Marketing Manager
Theron is originally from Grove, Oklahoma where he grew up hunting and fishing along the shores of Grand Lake o’the Cherokees. Theron started competing in bass tournaments with FLW Outdoors (now Major League Fishing) in 2009 at 16. After high school, he ended up at Henderson State University and was a member of the fishing team there. While in college, he also started fishing the FLW Tour where he qualified for the 2015 Forrest Wood Cup. After graduating with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing, he spent some time working for Cherokee Nation Entertainment before taking his career to the fishing industry. Outside of working as a professional in the industry; Theron is still an avid tournament angler but is also an experienced offshore, inshore, and fly-fishing angler. When not on the water, he enjoys deer hunting and waterfowl hunting.
