We’re hoping that this user guide can assist in finding your perfect CBD match.
At Revital Outdoors, we offer two product lines: Topicals and Ingestibles. We’ll review each type and their products here. Topicals
Definition: A topical is a cream or salve that is applied to the surface of the skin and absorbed for localized relief.
Best Uses: If you have an injury, aches, or soreness in a particular body part, such as shoulders, knees, hips, or back – a topical is a great option. Topicals target one area of the body and quickly remove soreness and aches. Great for injuries, sore muscles, and joint discomfort.
Since the skin is the largest organ in the body, it’s important that we take care of it. That’s why Revital Outdoors products are extremely creamy and moisturize while aiding in recovery.
We have two types of topicals:
-
CBD Cream – 250mg
The Revital Outdoors CBD Cream is offered in an easy-to-use pump bottle with a snap on lid, making it a great choice when you’re on the go or need to store it in your pack or tackle box. It’s easy to spread across your skin to quickly help your knees, back, elbows, shoulders to name a few and even works to provide moisture to your skin! We made sure that it was also unscented which means that even hunters can confidently use this product without fear of added scent.
-
Lavender Eucalyptus Salve – 500mg
This Lavender Eucalyptus Salve is both effective in aiding recovery and soothing to your skin, muscles, and joints. Our salve contains a higher concentration of CBD than the CBD cream, therefore packing the bigger punch. Moreover, if you are feeling particularly achy or have a bad shoulder that needs some extra help, you may want to try this topical to get you back in the game.
Ingestibles
Definition: An ingestible is a term used for CBD that it is taken through the mouth (i.e. eaten, swallowed, etc..).

Gummies – 10mg each
To start, these gummies are delicious! I find myself looking forward to taking these each day just because they are such a tasty treat. These gummies are easy to store in your pack and take on the go. Each gummy is 10mg, due to this it’s a great starting dose and for others this may be just one component of your CBD routine.
-
Tinctures – 900mg or 1350mg
A tincture is a great option for people that aren’t the biggest fans of taking pills. This product comes in an easy-to-use dropper bottle and is flavored with organic essential oils to enhance the flavor of the CBD oil. There are also different options for CBD strength depending on what you may need. The best way to take this oil is through sublingual absorption (under the tongue). We suggest holding the oil under your tongue for up to a minute before swallowing. This method is more efficient than oral ingestion, because the oil is absorbed more quickly into the bloodstream versus being processed by the digestive system when the oil is immediately swallowed. The reason for this quick absorption is due to the small capillary beds under your tongue that enable the oil to quickly filter into your bloodstream.

Softgels – 10mg or 25mg each
Revital Outdoors softgel capsules are small and easy-to-swallow and are the best option for your body to fully absorb the CBD with a smaller serving size. Through our nano emulsion technology, the CBD oil is broken into tiny particles, which increases the bioavailability of the capsules and makes them both water soluble and increases its potency.
For those that want it broken down a little further:
If you’re wanting it broken down a little further, we’ve got you! You’ve probably heard that oil and water don’t mix. Due to this, you could be wondering how that affects CBD oil. However, since the human body is primarily composed of water, taking CBD in its oil form is not as easily absorbed by the body. Moreover, this means that you need to take a larger dosage to receive the benefits you’re hoping for.
At Revital Outdoors, we use our nano emulsion technology to break down the CBD oil in our softgels into smaller particles. With this in mind, these microscopic particles are then water soluble (they can be dissolved in water). Now, they are much more easily absorbed by the body. Notably, these capsules have a higher bioavailability. This might now poise the question: what is bioavailability? It’s the amount of a substance that is absorbed by the body and the speed at which it’s absorbed. Therefore, by increasing the bioavailability, it is also increasing the amount of cannabinoids that are being absorbed into your system and increases the speed at which you will notice results – meaning that our products will be faster acting and overall more effective.
Additionally, since the CBD is now being fully absorbed by your system, you’ll begin to see similar benefits that you would with a regular CBD product but with a smaller serving size.
Finding the right dosage for your body:
There are multiple factors that play a part in how much CBD you should take, including, a person’s weight, metabolism, and sensitivity to phytocannabinoids. Due to these differences, if it’s your first time trying CBD, we suggest starting with a low dosage and slowing increasing over time.
As a general rule of thumb, we recommend starting with a 10mg dosage. Specifically, once per day and then increasing to twice per day. If you’re still not noticing any results, then try slowing increasing your dosage in 10-15mg increments. Additionally, it can take between 20 to 45 minutes for the CBD to take effect after ingestion. Therefore, consistency is key in CBD.
In conclusion, take your CBD daily until you find your sweet spot and try taking it at a similar time of day. If you’re still not seeing results, try a completely different delivery system! Revital Outdoors has a variety of products to offer.
